Learning to practice the art of acceptance in our interactions with others can help us to develop a peaceful mind-set.

When we are in disagreement with others, our sense of frustration usually comes from our inability to change the situation or person’s point of view.

Understanding that we can only change ourselves, we can learn to let go of our expectations about others and instead focus on ourselves. Releasing our effort to control or change people or situations can be incredibly empowering, because we realize that our inner peace does not depend on anything but our own state of being. If you can release your inner struggles and focus on accepting what is here today, your frustration will melt away and inner peace will take its place.
