Mihail stands out as one of the most confident voices that firmly shouts: “Yes! We can make a difference!”. Founder of the first and largest online community of positive news in Romania (LumeBuna.ro) and author of two unique books in the Romanian personal development field, Mihail walks the talk. And when not training or coaching, Mihail is a happy and delighted father (since January 2012) and runner at marathons.
After having met for the first time with the practice of training in October 2000, his life has been focused on developing a supportive community based on continuous learning and personal development. He accumulated over 2.500 hours of trainings and workshops delivered and facilitated in Romania and other countries like Belgium, Germany, Spain, Italy and Croatia. In Romania he delivered trainings for corporations such as Nestle, RCS & RDS, RTC and for numerous NGOs with national projects regarding education, namely Junior Achievement, British Council, AIESEC and others.
From the moment Mihail founded Lume Buna in March 2008, he succeeded in doing what no other online community had ever done, namely to highlight only the positive developments that the regular media failed to cover about and from Romania. Having worked with over 1000 volunteers, this NGO’s mission is to create awareness about the good changes that take place in our country and initiate valuable local and national movements, such as “Free Hugs”, ”Un zambet pentru tine”, “Scoala de Vara Lume Buna” and others. Since its start, Lume Buna managed to bring inspiration and a change of perspective for hundreds of thousands of young Romanians.
Continuing on the path of personal value and positive change, Mihail published in 2009 the book “Eu cine sunt?” addressing the reader in a way never experienced before in other Romanian personal development books. With “Eu cine Sunt?” Mihail opened the door of self discovery for thousands of readers, pointing out that the key to authentic happiness is at the beholder. After “Eu cine sunt?” Mihail published in 2010 the book “Acum*” as a challenge for readers to stop postponing the important changes in their lives. After only 8 months from its publishing, the book reached more than 50.000 readers.
The guidance found in these books can be experienced in Mihail’s trainings, coaching sessions, workshops, and more recently in his latest project “WhichWay”, founded in 2009. “WhichWay” is a personal development process that helps people discover themselves – their values, dreams, qualities and passions – and brings clarity on their path in life. It is a context that works with Life-Coaching principles and it accumulated more than 2.500 hours of coaching since its beginning.
As a speaker, Mihail has experience working both with large (hundreds) and small audiences, with ages ranging from the young adolescents to the elder people. He has been invited as a guest speaker at TEDx Iasi in 2011 where he shared his vision on how to “Create Your World”, being later inspired to deliver trainings with this theme. Reaching to people with diverse social and professional backgrounds, Mihail’s speeches resonate with audiences and create an inspiring and life changing atmosphere.
His passion for life and personal growth are integrated in all his activities, hobbies and writings. His articles can be found on Empower, Trainer’s Corner, Lume Buna, PRwave and others.
